Wendy Rychley C.P.A.

Wendy, a graduate of the University of Minnesota, has worked in the field of tax accounting since 1984.  Years of experience working with small businesses and their owners has enabled her to develop skills in consulting with clients to put tax strategies in place that will coordinate favorably with the business transactions.


A resident of Forest Lake since 1988, Wendy and her husband, Gary, have three grown children – all graduated from Forest Lake Public High School, and two have made their homes in the area.   She enjoys spending time with grandchildren, gardening, kayaking, hiking and traveling to new places.


Wendy meets regularly with clients, and oversees and reviews accounting and tax returns prepared in the office.


Wendy has held a CPA license since 1986, and completes at least 40 hours of continuing education each year related to tax, business, and financial services.


Marty Rychley

Marty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with a dual concentration in Finance and Management from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA.  He developed a passion for personal financial services through his coursework at Mercyhurst, and moved back to Minnesota in 2004 to join the family business.


Marty lives in Forest Lake with his wife Margi, a teacher in the Forest Lake School District.  They have three young children, Evan and Hannah, students at Lino Lakes Elementary, and Benjamin, a preschooler.  Outside of the office, Marty enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth hockey and soccer, and traveling when they have a chance.


Marty has two roles in our firm.  He prepares many of our personal income tax returns, and he has taken charge of the financial services area of the business.  He is skilled at helping clients develop long-range plans that are in sync with the client’s goals and values. In addition he has a unique ability to help clients understand the complex wealth management and insurance products they currently own.


Lynette Lange, E.A.

Lynette, our business accounting manager, joined us in 2010 after taking some time out of the workforce to stay at home while her children were young.  She has an Associate’s Degree in accounting and has 16 years total experience in public accounting.  Her skills include corporate, partnership and individual tax preparation, tax planning, payroll services, bookkeeping and QuickBooks accounting.


Residents of Forest Lake since 1998, Lynette and her husband, Bruce, have two teenage sons, Dominick, a college freshman at UND, and Hunter, a 9th grader at Central Jr. High.  Family time is Lynette’s top priority, and she enjoys traveling and spending time in northern Minnesota at their family cabin.


Lynette has passed three extensive IRS exams and holds an enrolled agent license.  The license allows her to represent clients involved in IRS disputes and examinations.  She completes 24 hours of continuing education annually on tax subjects.


Christian Gaffy

Christian received a degree in Finance, with a focus in Risk Management and Personal Finance from the University of Saint Mary’s in Winona, where he graduated cum laude.  Christian moved back to Forest Lake and joined our business in 2015.


Christian is engaged to be married to his college sweetheart, Breanna.  He is head junior varsity hockey coach at Forest Lake High School, and works with as a coach and mentor with Forest Lake youth hockey programs in the summer.  Outside the office and ice arena, he enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and playing his guitar.  In 2016 Christian was elected to the Board of Directors of the Forest Lake Chamber of Commerce.


Christian prepares many of our personal income tax returns and works together with Marty in financial services.  He uses his educational background and skills to help clients understand and plan for improvement to their financial wellbeing.  He places high importance on educating individuals to deepen their knowledge relating to retirement planning and insurance products that they hold or are considering.
